FREE Events in Marin (April 2025)

Looking for free events in Marin? Guided hikes, outdoor events, music, theater, lectures and book clubs are all included in this list.

I believe these events are also ideal for an adult on their own. I wanted to focus on events that anyone should feel able to attend on their own to make new friends or just get out of the house. I myself started attending some of these events in Marin because I don’t have many friends who live in the area and they’re not always available when I feel like getting out of the house.

This list excludes events that are free but encourage you to purchase something (such as a farmers’ market, author event discussing a book, or live music at a restaurant).
