Our Trail Route & Notes

To follow our trail route, start at Heart’s Desire Beach. Indian Beach Nature Trail begins to the right of the toilets. We stayed on that, where we ignored the turn for the Loop Trail and continued straight to Indian Beach. At the beach, we crossed the little bridge and passed the Miwok shelters to the wide, flat Loop Trail. We kept on that until we saw the marker for Heart’s Desire Beach. We hit the Indian Beach Nature Trail again, and we turned right to get back to Heart’s Desire Beach.

There’s a portion of the Loop Trail that is considered accessible; it runs from the road to Indian Beach.
